About me

I am an accredited CBT Therapist and EMDR therapist. I'm here to help you find the support and guidance you need in making positive changes in your life.

During sessions we will work together to help you understand your difficulties, where they have come from and what is keeping them going. I provide a relaxed, non-judgemental, and empathic atmosphere where we work together in collaboration to achieve your therapy goals. Previous clients have described me as direct, understanding, patient and easy to talk to.

I have 15 years experience of working therapeutically within the NHS and private healthcare services. My approach is primarily focussed on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and EMDR. I can also incorporate approaches from Compassionate Mind Coaching, Distress Tolerance and Mindfulness. Treatment is personalised to your needs and goals.

I understand how important it is to choose a therapist that is a good fit for you, and to have an opportunity to ask any questions you might have before getting started. This is why I offer a free 15 minute consultation, so you have a chance to get to know me and to decide if therapy is right for you.
