About me
Counsellor | Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Stress & Low Self-Esteem | ADHD, Autism & SEND | Adults, Young People & Families | Online UK & Blackpool
You may be feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, low mood, trauma, or ongoing difficulties with self-esteem and confidence. You might be struggling with depression, burnout, family pressures, or trying to understand your identity or diagnosis.
I support ADHD, autistic and SEND individuals, as well as those experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, bereavement and low self-esteem. I also work with parents and carers navigating complex systems and emotional strain.
I am an NCPS-accredited counsellor and psychotherapist with over 17 years’ experience in SEND, education and therapeutic settings. I also bring relevant lived experience of disability and caring responsibilities.
My approach is warm, collaborative and neurodivergent-affirming. I offer a safe, non-judgemental space where you do not need to mask or struggle alone. Together we can explore what is happening for you and work towards greater clarity, emotional regulation and self-understanding.
Specialist Areas:
ADHD • Autism • Neurodivergent identity • Late diagnosis • Masking & burnout • Anxiety • Depression • Trauma • Stress • Low self-esteem • Family issues • Parents & carers • Young people

You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out. Support is available when you’re ready.
What to Expect in Your Initial Consultation
Our first session is entirely your space, and I adapt my approach to whatever you need most in the moment. Whether you need a place to finally "offload" to someone who truly understands, or you want a structured plan to tackle specific challenges, we work at your pace. During our 60 minutes together, we can:
A Safe Space to be Heard: If you just need to "rant" or speak freely to someone who gets the neurodivergent and SEND worlds without you having to explain the basics, I am here to listen and validate your experience.
Identify Your Goals (If You’re Ready): If you are looking for change, we can begin to map out what "better" looks like for you, whether that’s managing sensory burnout, navigating the SEND system, or finding new ways to thrive.
Lived-Experience Insight: With 22 years of lived experience, I offer a connection that goes beyond textbooks. I provide a neuro-affirming environment where you don't have to "mask" or translate your struggles.
Practical Action or Gentle Support: We can end the session with concrete strategies to help you feel more in control or simply leave the space open for you to process your thoughts. You lead, and I follow.
