About me

People often come to therapy when life looks manageable on the outside, but inside feels tense, exhausting, or quietly overwhelming. You may be living with ongoing anxiety, struggling after a loss, feeling stuck in relationship patterns, or finding that a life transition has knocked your confidence or sense of direction. Sometimes there isn’t one clear problem - just a sense that life has become harder to manage than it used to be.

I’m an experienced psychotherapist and counsellor working with adults in and around Ramsey, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, offering both in-person and online sessions. I provide a calm, thoughtful space where you can slow things down, make sense of what’s happening for you, and begin to feel more grounded and able to cope.

My approach is integrative, which means I draw on different therapeutic models depending on your needs, rather than applying a one-size-fits-all method. Over the years, I’ve found this flexible way of working particularly helpful for people experiencing anxiety, depression, bereavement, emotional exhaustion, work-related stress, and life transitions that affect identity or confidence. This can ease emotional distress and support lasting change - not just short-term relief.

I work in a calm, thoughtful, and relational way, offering a space where you don’t need to have everything worked out or explained neatly. Therapy with me is not about being analysed or given quick fixes, but about feeling understood and supported as we make sense of what’s happening for you. From that understanding, change becomes possible - at a pace that feels right.

Before training as a psychotherapist, I spent many years working in management roles. This background has given me a strong understanding of the pressures people face around responsibility, performance, and balancing personal needs with external demands - experiences that often show up in the therapy room.

Clients often tell me they appreciate my warmth, steadiness, and the sense of being met without judgement or expectation. Whether we are working face-to-face in Cambridgeshire or online, my aim is to create a safe, reliable space where you can feel less alone with what you’re carrying and begin to move forward with greater clarity and self-trust.

I offer counselling and psychotherapy in-person from Ramsey in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, as well as online and phone sessions for those who prefer remote support.
