About me
Therapy with me is an opportunity to pause. As an integrative therapist, I offer a warm and grounded space where you can feel at ease. A trusting therapeutic relationship is central to my approach. We’ll make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface - bringing awareness to the patterns and feelings that might be shaping your experience. Through this understanding, we can explore new and fulfilling ways forward.
My approach
Together we’d look at what’s going on in your life and what you want for yourself. This often involves exploring your past experiences to understand how they could be contributing to your current feelings or behaviour, or it might focus more on the here and now - or a mixture of both.
I see therapy as a space for reflection, honesty, and sometimes challenge - a place to make sense of your story and move towards feeling more connected and grounded in your own life.
My work is relational and integrative. This means I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, including humanistic and psychodynamic theories. Essentially, I ensure that our work is shaped around you and your particular needs.
What brings people to therapy
People usually come to therapy because something has been niggling in the background - calling for your attention.
I often work with people who want to explore anxiety or uncertainties about the future, intimacy or communication in relationships, difficult decisions or transitions, living with loss or grief, or questions about identity.
Working together
I offer an initial free 15-minute call to explore how we would work together and to see if we’re a good fit. This is also a chance for you to ask any questions about the process, with no expectation or obligation to continue sessions together.
Training, qualifications & experience
My experience in the field of psychotherapy has spanned a range of mental health settings. I have worked as a health and wellbeing coach within the NHS, provided low-cost therapy for the local community in Hackney, delivered trauma-informed therapy for people living with HIV, and volunteered in a charity for people with suicidal thoughts.
As well as my private practice, I am currently doing additional training in the NHS in cognitive analytic therapy (CAT), supporting people who have complex mental health needs.
I work with an awareness of the wider social, cultural and historical contexts that shape people’s lives. I’m committed to anti-oppressive practice, and work with people from all walks of life, whatever their age, race, ethnicity, cultural heritage, socioeconomic background, gender identity or sexuality.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
