About me
I am a Person Centred, trauma informed Therapist, qualified to work with adults and children. *I am unable to offer sessions to school age children from within Fife as it conflicts with my current position.
There are many points in life when we feels cast adrift, unsure of how we feel or why we feel it. Unsure of how to move forward from our past or even from our present. Much of my work revolves around these moments, supporting my clients to find the right way forward. I work in an integrative, trauma informed way which allows me to tailor the way we work together and hold a compassionate safe space to collaborate within. I believe connection is a core human need and that no one should feel alone with their problems.
Having worked with addicted adults and their families and currently in school settings, I can offer safe space for a wide age range of clients over a wide range of issues including but not limited to; addiction, childhood trauma, self harm , eating disorders, self esteem, life stage transitions, conflict, loss, depression, anxiety and single session therapy
Trauma can be a complex and confusing experience. Often tangled with emotions such as shame and anger which can hold people back from seeking understanding or support. I know how painful and lonely that can be and how big it can feel to finally reach out and open up. This is part of the reason I offer therapy in the form that feels most comfortable for you.
I am currently trialling the offer of text sessions which can be booked week to week and up to the same day as required. These will be at a reduced fee but there are limitations to what we are able work on within these sessions. Please enquire for more details

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
