At Caring with Compassion I use a holistic, person Centred approach ~ to look after each client as a whole. I cover biological, psychological, social and often spiritual aspects of one’s life.
SUBSTANCE MISUSE TREATMENT AND COUNSELLING
Crucially, I understand the many roots of addiction and always take a holistic approach to ensure I tackle every level of substance misuse.
Interventions I use include: Motivational Interviewing, CBT, S.M.A.R.T, MBRP.
- I help people to recover from the effects of addiction and gain control of their lives.
- Equip users with useful strategies for dealing with the complexities of life and it’s challenges.
- Enhance health and wellbeing.
- Help people with reduction or reach abstinence
Counselling will support clients to enhance and maintain their motivation to change, and develop their problem-solving and coping skills. Gearing towards an overall better state of well being.
With counselling help, clients can move forward confidently and start enjoying life free from the constraints and repercussions of drug and alcohol problems.
ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION
I are here to support those with a range of mental health conditions, dual diagnosis and other complex needs.
I aim to help people live as independently as possible. I use a holistic, recovery-focused approach.
MINDFULNESS FOR RELAPSE PREVENTION
Mindfulness Based Relapse Prevention techniques are intended to foster increased awareness of triggers, destructive habitual patterns, and “automatic” reactions that seem to control many of our lives.
