About us
Are you caring for someone with long-term health conditions?
Do you often feel overwhelmed by the demands of caregiving and find yourself without the support you need to continue?
Are you living with a long-term health condition yourself and seeking someone to talk to in a safe, confidential space?
Through my work with older adults and individuals living with dementia, I’ve come to recognise a significant gap in resources and emotional support for both carers and those living with chronic health conditions. Counselling can be a powerful way to explore the emotional challenges that you may not feel comfortable sharing with family or friends.
I’m an integrative counsellor with over 10 years of experience in the dementia field. I specialise in supporting carers or individuals with long-term health conditions, including those dealing with comorbidities such as strokes, heart failure, or cancer. The demands placed on carers can be significant and you don’t have to manage them alone.
I offer both ongoing and time-limited counselling, tailored to your individual needs. Sessions are currently available online during the day, and in certain cases, can be offered in your home. In-person counselling will also be available in the near future.
Home sessions require an assessment to ensure that the space is safe, private, and suitable for therapeutic work. If others are likely to enter the room during a session, the home setting may not be appropriate.
Home assessments are charged at £25.
Zoom or in-room assessments are offered free of charge.
If you have questions or would like to arrange an initial conversation, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m here to help support you; whether you’re a carer or living with health challenges yourself.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
