About me

Taking the step to seek support can feel daunting, but it’s a brave and important decision. If you’re struggling with overwhelming emotions, difficult life experiences, or simply want to understand yourself better, counselling provides a safe, confidential space where you can explore what’s on your mind and begin to find clarity and peace.

Whether you’re facing anxiety, processing past trauma, dealing with loss, struggling with anxiety, experiencing depression, or navigating life with neurodiversity, therapy offers a compassionate environment for self-discovery and healing. Together, we will explore your unique challenges and work towards the emotional well-being you deserve.

Free 20-Minute Consultation
If you’re unsure about counselling or simply want to know more about how I work, I offer a free 20-minute consultation. This is an opportunity for us to connect and discuss how I can best support you.

How I Work
I offer a client-centred approach, drawing on a variety of therapeutic techniques to meet your needs. This may include Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Mindful Self-Compassion. The focus is always on you—your experience, your pace, and your healing.

Therapy isn’t just about talking; it’s about finding a way forward. Together, we’ll explore what’s holding you back, work through difficult emotions, and help you develop the tools and insights needed to live a more fulfilling life.

Supporting You Through Life’s Challenges
Emotional Struggles
Life can bring challenges that feel overwhelming, whether it’s managing anxiety, navigating the effects of past trauma, or coping with feelings of sadness and low energy. These struggles can make it hard to move forward, but therapy provides the space to understand these emotions, process them, and learn new ways of coping.

Healing from Past Experiences
We all carry experiences from the past that can shape how we see ourselves and interact with the world. Therapy can help you make sense of these experiences, heal from emotional wounds, and develop healthier ways of thinking and being.

Grief & Loss
Loss, whether of a loved one, a relationship, or a phase of life, can bring about deep pain and confusion. Grieving is a personal process, and there is no right or wrong way to go through it. In therapy, we’ll create a space for you to process your grief at your own pace and work towards finding peace and healing.

Self-Awareness & Growth
Whether you're seeking to improve self-esteem, build better relationships, or simply gain a deeper understanding of yourself, therapy is an empowering process that allows you to reconnect with your inner strength. Through this process, you can begin to live with more confidence, clarity, and resilience.

What I Can Help With
I support individuals and couples with a wide range of issues, including:

Anxiety, stress, and overwhelm
Coping with past trauma or difficult life experiences
Depression, sadness, and emotional low points
Grief, loss, and bereavement
Improving self-esteem and confidence
Navigating relationships and communication
Self-awareness, personal growth, and empowerment
Whatever you’re experiencing, counselling is a space where you can begin to explore, heal, and find a way forward at your own pace.

Why Counselling Works
Therapy is your time to reflect, process, and gain insights into your thoughts and emotions. It offers a path towards healing, greater self-awareness, and emotional resilience. Through counselling, you can develop the tools to move through life’s challenges with more confidence, peace, and clarity.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), adhering to their Ethical Framework for Good Practice. I also receive regular professional supervision and am fully insured.

Location & Contact
I am based in Liverpool City Centre (L3), just a short walk from Liverpool One and opposite Moorfields Train Station. There is also plenty of on-street parking available.

I offer online sessions for clients across the UK and internationally, so you can access support wherever you are.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
