About me

Life feeling overwhelming? You're not alone.

In today’s fast-paced world, it’s common to feel weighed down by struggles, but you don’t have to face them alone. As an integrative psychotherapist, I’m here to support you and walk alongside you on your journey to healing and self-discovery. My approach blends various therapeutic methods to meet your unique needs, providing a personalized, client-centered experience.

Safe, Empathetic, and Non-Judgmental Therapy

I offer a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where you can express your thoughts and feelings freely. Every session is entirely client-led and at your own pace, giving you the room to explore acceptance, understanding, and personal growth.

I have experience working with a wide range of issues, including:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Trauma
  • Grief and Loss
  • Relationship Challenges
  • Abuse
  • ADHD and Neurodivergence

I also specialize in working with:

  • Deaf/Hard of Hearing individuals
  • Children of Deaf Adults (CODAs)
  • LGBTQ+ Identity and Issues
  • Cultural and Religious Challenges

As a mixed-race, South Asian woman raised in a Muslim household, I understand the complexities of navigating cultural and religious difficulties and can offer a space where these experiences are recognized and valued. Additionally, I am fluent in British Sign Language (BSL) and Sign Supported English (SSE), so communication is seamless for both hearing and Deaf clients.

How the Sessions Work

Finding the right therapist can be a daunting task, but I’m here to make the process easy and stress-free. It’s important that you feel comfortable and confident in your choice. After you reach out, I’ll be available to answer any questions, and once you're ready, we’ll schedule a session that works for you.

Take the first step toward your mental and emotional well-being today. I’m here to help you heal, grow, and thrive. Whether you’re hearing, Deaf, or Hard of Hearing, you are welcome in this space.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
