About me
Hi there and welcome
I am glad you are thinking of asking for support; I understand the first steps can feel daunting. Finding a counsellor you feel comfortable with is an important step, so I want to try and describe what you can expect from me.
I am a COSCA registered person centred counsellor offering online counselling to adults throughout the UK. I will provide a warm, supportive and non judgemental space for you to explore your feelings at your own pace.
My approach is gentle and collaborative. I believe that each person is the expert in their own life, so rather than directing or advising, my aim is to walk alongside you as we explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences together. Through being listened to and heard with empathy, acceptance and understanding, counselling can help you gain greater self awareness, clarity and confidence in dealing with life.
You may be experiencing anxiety, feeling overwhelmed, struggling with relationships, navigating loss or other life transitions, or simply feeling that something is not right. Whatever brings you to counselling you will be met with compassion and respect.
I offer online sessions to individuals across the country, allowing you to access support from the comfort and privacy of your own home.
If you would like to find out more about how we might work together, please get in touch and I would be happy to answer any questions you may have. I offer a free initial 15 minute phone call or video meet if preferred. Feel free to send me a text or email for initial contact.
