About me

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, grief, burnout, or addictive behaviours, it can be hard to find a way forward. You don’t have to go through this alone. Counselling offers a safe, confidential space where you can talk openly, be heard without judgement, and begin to find new ways of coping.

I am a qualified therapeutic counsellor, practising since 2007, first in Australia and now in Southend-on-Sea and Westcliff-on-Sea. I offer face-to-face sessions in Westcliff and online sessions for those unable to travel. My approach is integrative — drawing from person-centred therapy, CBT, and solution-focused work — but most importantly, it is tailored to you. Together we will explore what feels most supportive and meaningful for your healing.

Clients come to me for support with:

  • Addictions and compulsive behaviours
  • Anxiety, stress, and burnout
  • Bereavement and loss
  • Depression and low self-esteem
  • Discrimination
  • Sexuality and identity issues
  • Transitions such as retirement or workplace challenges

Alongside counselling, I am a qualified supervisor, supporting both trainee and practising counsellors, as well as managers and frontline workers in high-stress roles.

I bring over 20 years of experience in supporting people’s wellbeing, holding a Bachelor of Applied Social Science (Counselling) and advanced training in CBT, addictions, workplace coaching, and professional supervision.

If you are looking for a compassionate, experienced counsellor who will meet you where you are and walk alongside you, please contact me to arrange an initial session.
