About me

Having worked in the NHS for over 10 yrs counting as a CBT therapist, I understand how difficult it can be for you to engage in therapy and better your soul. However, I have also learnt how giving you time, knowledge, openness to explore what you are going through and where it has come from, in a non-judgmental environment can really help you overcome your fears, worries, loneliness and despair and feeling of feeling stuck in a rut of anxiety and or depression.

I offer Cognitive Behavioural therapy for anxiety and/or depression in my private practice for adults . This uses skills and techniques which help you to learn to manage your anxiety and depression much better . Within this therapy I like to adopt a holistic approach via the integration of looking at health, lifestyle , diet, etc. As it is all interlinked.

Do your feel like you have changed but you don’t know why or where it has come from, are you confused by the sudden feelings of anxiety, dread, tearfullness, anger, hopelessness, feeling stuck, lost., stressed, fear, crap, nervous, easily frustrated. Trust issues.

Do you get sudden physical symptoms of heart racing, sick, butterflies in your belly, aches and pains, breathless, not being able to settle, feeling tired, don’t want to do anything, exhausted, stress related health issues, feeling hot., sleep issues, nightmares, loss of appetite. Sweating, shaking,

Along with this do you end up avoiding situations or give excuses to not do things, or reassurance seeking from your partner or someone else, or overcompensating behaviours or not taking care of yourself, or thinking of others before yourself among many other symptoms.

Then I’m here to help you to navigate through this and help you gain back control of your life to meet your goals.

I’m excited to work with you as I know how good it feels once you have overcome these horrible feelings and worries, and this is why I love what I do.

Life is complicated, but you can overcome what you are going through whether it is in areas of meeting people, talking to family about issues going on, being confident at work, sorting out real issues, overcoming your fears or working on parts of your daily life that has also been affected like eating, hobbies, not being isolated away due to feeling low.

I will work with you in my relaxed, and calming therapy room in Quinton.

I work in the early evening on weekdays and early mornings on weekends as I understand how if therapy is done after work or early weekends it means it does not have to disrupt your evenings or weekend as much, so you can do therapy and get on with your day.

You an call me out of the availability hours if wish to discuss or book therapy.

You can get better and be back to your original self it just takes that first step, which I can help you take and walk into your healthier, new self which is happier, more connect and able to not be so affected by issue as now you know it is in your control.

I am more than happy to chat for a free 20 mins consultation to discuss what you would like and how I can help you. Just call me, your new life is only a phone call or email away.
