Rachel White FdSc MBACP
Life is a complex combination of highs and lows. The ups and downs life presents are a natural part of being human; however sometimes a low can persist and needs to be processed and worked through in order to make life more balanced. Counselling is a way to allow yourself a safe space and adequate time in which to work through any challenges you are experiencing.
I work therapeutically with both adults and children and my private practice is available for clients aged 5 years and above.
My counselling approach is Person-Centred and also encompasses Cognitive Behavioural techniques. I believe in the power of the therapeutic alliance, in that you must feel comfortable and trust your therapist in order for counselling to be beneficial. I also utilise Cognitive Behavioural techniques, if appropriate, as I feel these can really build on any changes you would like to implement in your life.
Please feel free to get in touch with me if you feel I could be the right counsellor for you.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
Areas of counselling I deal with
Counselling sessions cost £50 per session for adults and £60 per session for children and young people.
I see clients in Worcester as well as my Malvern based practice. I also conduct counselling sessions via Zoom, whereby I send a link via e-mail for scheduled sessions. Zoom can be like a telephone session or a Skype call if your laptop has a webcam.
