About me
I work with adults, children and young people.
Adults:
I work with adults who are stuck in difficult and painful relationship patterns. That may be with a spouse or partner, a family member or colleague or even yourself.
You may be feeling anxious, low, overwhelmed, or stuck. Perhaps you overthink situations, doubt yourself, struggle with boundaries, or feel as though your past is still affecting your present.
I offer a warm and welcoming place to help you understand what’s going on underneath these patterns, so you can build confidence, healthier boundaries, and more secure relationships as well as an understanding of yourself which in turn can help build skills and coping mechanisms that you can take away and use for life.
Children & Young People
I support children and young people who may be feeling overwhelmed by their emotions and finding life difficult. Whether they are experiencing anxiety, low mood, bereavement, friendship difficulties or changes at home, my approach is patient, warm, supportive and tailored to each child’s individual needs and developmental stage. Using a blend of talking, creative resources and play-based approaches which helps children explore their feelings in a way that feels natural and comfortable for them.
I offer face-to-face counselling in Aldridge town centre, online sessions via Zoom and I offer flexible appointments.
If you’re thinking about reaching out, you’re welcome to contact me via email, phone, text or WhatsApp. I offer a free 20-minute phone or Zoom call. This is an opportunity for you to ask questions, tell me a little about what’s bringing you or your child to therapy, and see whether working together feels right for you.
