I have been serving in the healthcare profession for over 20 years where I have developed a wealth of experience, knowledge and skills.
Working in health care environment with people from diverse cultures & ethnic backgrounds has drawn me to develop an understanding of the stress levels that can affect people personally and professionally this awareness brought my attention to the lack of self care I would see in others. This has been the driving force which has moved me forward into the psychological school or thought.
Life can be very overwhelming at times and this can put us into a mental state of proalasis. When feeling stuck and in despair sometimes all we need is someone who will just listen to our story with respect and without judgment. With the reassurance that there is a way forward.
IT TAKES GREAT COURAGE TO ASK FOR HELP!
I believe all people have a special uniqueness and intrinsic worth.
All my clients stories are important to me so I work with the whole person. I work with behavioral responses & thoughts, the emotional self & attitudes.
In my client work I encourage them to view their perception and experience of themselves and how they view the world.
I tailor my work towards my clients needs to bring about the best working relationship.
I offer the highest level of confidentiality within the ethical framework of the two professional bodies I associate with. (GDC) General Dental Counsel & (BACP) British Association for Counsellors & Psychotherapist.
Having developed effective & dynamic therapy skills to bring out my clients greatest version. I have no doubt in my mind to believe that...

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
