About me

Hello, and a warm welcome. As a cognitive behavioural psychotherapist (CBT therapist), I specialise in helping high performers such as business executives, athletes and professionals, who find that anxiety, self-criticism and stress is detrimentally impacting their life and performance at work.

I currently work at The Priory Hospital Roehampton as a sessional therapist, and, when not working there, I am pleased to offer private sessions for adults online.

I am trained to work with a range of anxiety-based presentations, including generalised anxiety, social anxiety, health anxiety, performance anxiety, panic and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). I also help clients manage emotional problems including depression, anger, guilt, hurt and shame, as well as issues such as perfectionism and 'imposter syndrome'.

I help my clients to support their mental health through a skills-based approach which draws on cognitive behavioural therapy (including Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy; REBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and mindfulness. This involves identifying the mindsets and behaviours which are keeping them stuck, and moving towards healthy alternatives which are aligned with their values and goals.

I provide a space which is non-judgemental, safe and compassionate, recognising that it is not easy to seek support for mental health.

Having spent ten years working within demanding corporate environments prior to retraining as a therapist, I am well placed to understand the pressures many of my clients face as they seek to balance their own mental wellbeing with job and personal life demands.  Moreover, I am a published academic in workplace wellbeing, stress management and resilience building, having completed my PhD in this field.
