About us
I'm Nora, a qualified person-centred counsellor offering face-to-face counselling in Windsor and online sessions via Zoom.
I believe that everyone deserves to feel heard, understood and accepted without judgement. Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, and there may be times when it's difficult to make sense of our emotions, relationships or experiences.
Whether you're experiencing anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, loss or simply feeling stuck, counselling can provide a safe and confidential space to explore what's happening in your life.
As a person-centred counsellor, I believe that every individual is unique, with their own experiences, feelings and way of seeing the world.
I offer empathy, understanding and a non-judgemental environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly, at your own pace.
I believe that greater self-awareness can help us understand ourselves more deeply, recognise patterns in our lives and discover our own way forward.
Training, qualifications & experience
I qualified as a Person-Centred Counsellor in 2022, completing training that developed my understanding of emotional wellbeing, human relationships, self-awareness, and the importance of providing a safe, empathetic, and non-judgemental therapeutic environment.
Alongside counselling, I have over 13 years of experience working closely with individuals as a qualified Personal Trainer. This has strengthened my understanding of the connection between physical and emotional wellbeing and the importance of recognising each person's individual needs and circumstances.
Member organisations *
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
