About me

Starting therapy can feel daunting, especially if you’re used to managing things on your own. You might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck in certain patterns, or unsure why things feel the way they do.

I offer a support, non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and begin to make sense of your experiences. I work with people navigating anxiety, low mood, relationship challenges, and life transitions, supporting you to understand yourself more deeply and find new ways of coping.

As an integrative counsellor, I tailor my approach to you rather than taking a one-size-fits-all stance. Our work together might involve exploring past experiences, understanding current challenges, and building practical ways to move forward.

I offer both online and in-person sessions, with flexibility where possible. I also offer a free initial consultation so you can ask any questions and get a feel for how I work.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a Level 7 MSc in Psychology and Counselling, with training in integrative practice. This has equipped me to work with a range of therapeutic approaches and adapt my work to suit different client needs.

I am a registered member of BACP and adhere to their Ethical Framework, ensuring that my practice is safe, professional, and grounded in recognised standards.

I have experience supporting individuals with anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, and challenges relating to identity and self-esteem, across both short-term and longer-term work.

I engage in regular clinical supervision and ongoing professional development to maintain and strengthen my practice.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
