About me

I am a BACP-accredited psychotherapist with over 15 years of experience working across NHS mental health services with children, adolescents, and adults. I offer online evening appointments for individuals of any age seeking support with anxiety, stress, and phobias.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and evidence-based, with specialist training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I understand how overwhelming anxiety can feel and how much it can affect everyday life, relationships, confidence, work, and wellbeing. Together, we can develop practical strategies to help you better understand your difficulties, break unhelpful patterns, and build long-term coping skills.

I have extensive experience supporting people with:

  • Generalised anxiety
  • Panic attacks
  • Health anxiety
  • Social anxiety
  • Stress and burnout
  • Specific phobias
  • Worry and overthinking
  • Low confidence and self-esteem

I tailor therapy to each individual and aim to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard and understood.

Alongside CBT, I draw on my wider psychotherapy experience to ensure sessions feel personalised rather than “one size fits all.” My background working across all age groups within the NHS has given me extensive experience working with a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties.

I currently offer:

  • Online therapy sessions
  • Evening appointments
  • Short and longer-term work

Please feel free to get in touch for an initial discussion or to ask any questions about therapy and how I work.

Training, qualifications & experience

  • BA Hons Psychology and Sociology
  • BA Hons Counselling & Integrative Psychotherapy
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
  • Level 6 Certificate in Counselling Supervision

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
