How counselling can help
When you feel stuck in cycles of negative thoughts, overwhelming emotions, or unhealthy behaviours, it can be hard to overcome alone. Together, we’ll work to uncover the root causes of your struggles and develop practical strategies to manage them. Whether you’re dealing with the weight of anxiety, the emptiness of depression, or a difficult relationship with food and body image, I’m here to help you.
What to expect in your first session
To help you feel more comfortable with the process, I offer a free 15-minute introductory call where we can discuss your needs and see if we’re the right fit. My goal is to ensure you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make positive changes in your life.

Training, qualifications & experience
I am a Qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT). I am a fully accredited member of the BABCP. I have also trained in CBT-T, Cognitive behavioural therapy for patients with non-underweight eating disorders.
I specialise in counselling support for people experiencing anxiety and depression as a result of low self-esteem. I have a special interest in low self-esteem and also the link to mood and overeating, which can lead to binge eating. I work with my clients in person (Irvine, Ayrshire) or online, implementing evidence-based CBT strategies and tools. I also have extensive experience in working within the Higher Education system, delivering 1:1 CBT counselling and group interventions.

BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists.
