About me

I am a BABCP accredited and qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist.

I help people struggling with anxiety, depression, low self esteem and binge eating disorders.

How counselling can help

I specialize in helping people  who feel stuck in cycles of negative thoughts, overwhelming emotions, or unhealthy behaviors. Together, we’ll work to uncover the root causes of your struggles and develop practical strategies to manage them. Whether you’re dealing with the weight of anxiety, the emptiness of depression, or a difficult relationship with food and body image, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

What to expect in your first session

To help you feel more comfortable with the process, I offer a free introductory call where we can discuss your needs and see if we’re the right fit. My goal is to ensure you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make positive changes in your life.

How are sessions conducted

  • Online for convenience
  • in person sessions available in Prestwick, Ayr or Irvine
  • I offer one to one counselling - Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • I offer CBT-T for eating disorders - Brief cognitive behavioural therapy for non-underweight patients
  • I offer CBT for Menopause - Group and one to one support

Appointments can be conducted online or in person.

Contact me today for your free introductory call where we can discuss your needs and see if we’re the right fit.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a Qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT). I am a fully accredited member of the BABCP. I have also trained in CBT-T, Cognitive behavioural therapy for patients with non-underweight eating disorders.

I specialise in counselling support for people experiencing  anxiety and depression as a result of low self esteem.   I have a special interest in low self esteem and also the link to mood and overeating which can lead to binge eating. I  work  with my  clients in person (Ayrshire) or online , implementing evidenced based CBT strategies and tools. I also have extensive experience in working within the Higher Education system delivering 1:1 CBT counselling and group interventions.
