About me
Hello, I’m Mirella.
You might be feeling low, stuck, or disconnected from motivation, routine, or a sense of purpose. You may know what you “should” or would like to be doing, yet struggle to get going - or feel that life has become flatter, heavier, or less meaningful than it once was.
I work with adults experiencing low mood, anxiety, self-doubt, or burnout, including those who feel caught in unhelpful patterns or disconnected from what matters to them. This can show up as difficulty maintaining routines, loss of motivation, or feeling uncertain about direction or purpose.
My work is thoughtful, collaborative, and focused on helping you move forward in a way that feels meaningful and sustainable - not forced or overwhelming.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a BABCP Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with experience working in NHS services and private practice.
My core training is in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and my work is strongly informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I have particular experience supporting people with depression, anxiety, low motivation, and difficulties with confidence or self-doubt.
I work in a structured yet compassionate way, combining evidence-based tools with space to explore values, meaning, and personal direction. My aim is to support you to build skills you can continue using beyond therapy. I have worked with clients from a wide range of backgrounds and tailor therapy carefully to each individual.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
Therapy with me is not “one size fits all.” Some people want practical tools and structure; others want space to slow down, reflect, and understand themselves more deeply. Most benefit from a blend of both.
Alongside online therapy, I am developing a walk-and-talk therapy offering, making use of gentle movement and time outdoors to support well-being. This will be available in person in the Richmond upon Thames, Kingston area from spring/summer 2026.
I offer a free introductory consultation to help us both decide whether working together feels like a good fit.
