I believe every person has the capacity to grow, change and heal. In our sessions, you are the expert of your own story; my role is to guide, support, and equip you with the tools to make lasting change.
As a registered Counselling Psychologist, I draw on approaches such as Compassion-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-based skills, and Polyvagal theory, to tailor the process to your needs. I offer a calm, compassionate space where we can explore what’s troubling you - whether it’s anxiety, stress, low mood, trauma, relationship challenges, or addiction. Together, we’ll work towards greater clarity, confidence, and emotional balance.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am an HCPC registered Counselling Psychologist and have worked with charities addressing social inequalities, homelessness and working with individual trauma and addictions. I also have experience working for the NHS in crisis settings, supporting individuals achieve stabilisation and maintaining well-being.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
