About me
I know that taking the initial step to get a Counsellor can seem like a daunting prospect, especially when life events and our responses to them can leave us feeling stuck, confused or overwhelmed; it can sometimes seem like there is no clear path forward. I provide a calm, collaborative and empathetic space, where you can feel safe enough to work through your difficulties at your own pace. Gestalt therapy can support you to try out new ways of doing things, whilst enabling you to live with zest, self acceptance and enjoy a more meaningful connection with others.
I have seven years of clinical experience working with people experiencing difficulties that include Trauma, Anxiety, ADHD, Bereavement Processes, Depression, Relationship issues, Stress, Emotional Disturbances and Low Self-Esteem. I am curious about how distress manifests itself in our bodies and how this may be alleviated through sensing or moving; I am currently undertaking further professional training in Somatic Trauma Therapy.
If you decide to get in touch, I look forward to hearing from you!
Training, qualifications & experience
I initially trained as an Integrative Counsellor before I went on to do study Gestalt Psychotherapy at the Metanoia Institute, Ealing, West London. I hold the following qualifications:

BSc Social Sciences
RHS Level 3 Practical Horticulture
I have worked in a variety of contexts:
NHS Wandsworth Iaptus (short term work)
A low cost charity service (mid-Long term work)
I am currently working as a private practitioner.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
