About me

Thanks for visiting!

I am an experienced and accredited UKCP-registered psychotherapist with a humanistic/narrative approach, working from Highbury and Islington.  I offer one-to-one weekly psychotherapy with adults.

I work towards helping clients feel compassion and gratitude towards themselves, and try to approach negative emotions with a positive, interested outlook.

By re-telling your story aware of the therapist's listening ear and interest, you can build up a sense of continuity and the ability to self-reflect.

I also give supervision to trainee or qualified therapists either from Highbury Fields or online.  I offer support and insight to therapists working relationally with clients of all sorts.  My many years of experience as a therapist mean that I have perspective to bring on most challenges the work can face.

Training, qualifications & experience

Integrative Psychotherapy MSc from Metanoia Institute.

Diploma in Supervision (currently underway) Minster Centre

Working since 1999 in a variety of settings in London.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
