About me

You might be used to coping,  holding things together, being the strong one.
And yet something doesn’t feel quite right , anxiety humming in the background, grief that lingers, self-doubt that quietly shapes your choices, or relationship patterns that leave you feeling unseen.

As a BACP-registered counsellor, I work integratively, which means I adapt therapy to you rather than fitting you into one approach. Together we might explore how past experiences still echo in the present, untangle patterns that no longer serve you, and find practical ways to feel more steady and self-assured in everyday life.

Therapy with me is calm, collaborative, and human. I always bring my full, authentic self and not a polished professional persona.
Just a real human who knows how it feels to sit in the other chair, as a client, trying to piece myself back together when I did not even know who I really was beneath the surface.
No matter what you bring into the room, you will always be accepted for who you are and where you are at. I will meet you there and we'll start figuring things out together.

All of that means that there's often space for laughter, connection, and moments of lightness in the heavy. Therapy can be serious and deep, yes, but it can also be warm, human, and real.

I believe that real healing can only start when you allow yourself to be seen as you truly are. The therapeutic space with me will hopefully be the place where you can slowly start to realise that you don't need fixing, that you were never broken, and that you have always been good enough just as you are.

I work with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties , family issues and LGBTQIA+ concerns, among many other challenges.. Clients often tell me they value the balance I bring , warmth and compassion alongside thoughtful reflection and, when helpful, gentle challenge.

I hope to offer you a space to untangle, understand, and maybe even start to feel like yourself again.

Starting therapy can feel daunting, so I offer a free introductory call. There’s no pressure ,  simply a chance to talk and see whether working together feels right for you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
