About me
I specialize in adult psychoanalysis and psychodynamic psychotherapy for parents and their infants, children and adolescents.
Training, qualifications & experience
I graduated from the Chicago Psychoanalytic Institute as an adult psychoanalyst, and from the Parent-Infant Psychotherapy Program of the Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research. I was also trained and supervised as a psychotherapist for children, adolescents and their parent. I am a member of the UK Council for Psychotherapist, the British Psychoanalytic Council, the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, and the American Psychoanalytic Association. Previously in Hong Kong and Beijing, I have years of experience working with the Chinese and the international communities in various settings, in addition to offering supervisory consultation, teaching infant and young child observation, parent-infant psychotherapy and parenthood.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
