About me

Do you feel constantly under pressure, even when nothing is immediately wrong?

You might be overthinking, struggling to switch off, or feeling worn down by ongoing stress. Even small things can start to feel harder to manage, and it’s easy to end up stuck in your head, unsure how to regain a sense of control.

I work with adults who feel overwhelmed, mentally exhausted, or stuck in patterns of stress and overthinking, and want practical support to feel calmer, clearer, and more in control.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out—many people I work with start at exactly this point.

Who I Work With

I support adults—particularly men—who:

Overthink and struggle to switch off
Feel under constant pressure or mentally exhausted
Find it hard to manage stress, even when things seem “fine” on the outside
Have been dealing with things on their own for a long time and aren’t sure how to start talking about it
Want practical ways to feel more in control of their thoughts and responses

My Approach to Counselling

My approach is practical, structured, and collaborative.

Rather than just talking about problems, we focus on understanding what’s keeping you stuck and developing realistic ways to respond differently—so things begin to feel more manageable in everyday life.

I practise integrative counselling, adapting different approaches to suit you as an individual.

How Counselling Can Help

Counselling can help you:

Manage stress and anxiety more effectively
Reduce overthinking and mental fatigue
Build confidence and emotional resilience
Feel calmer, clearer, and more in control
Respond more steadily to pressure and challenges

What You Can Expect From Working With Me

Sessions are calm, structured, and focused on helping you feel more grounded over time.

We work at a pace that suits you, with a focus on building lasting resilience—not just short-term relief.

Next Step

Reaching out can feel like a big step, especially if you’re used to handling things on your own or aren’t sure what to say.

You don’t need to prepare anything in advance—we can simply start with where things are for you now.

If this sounds like what you’re experiencing, you’re welcome to get in touch for an initial chat to see if working together feels right. There’s no pressure to continue.

Training, qualifications & experience

Qualifications & Experience

Training: Level 4 Diploma in Counselling
Qualification: Diploma
Year Qualified: 2025
Year I Began Practice: 2025

I have over two years of counselling experience, supporting clients with stress, anxiety, and feeling overwhelmed.

Alongside my counselling training, I bring a background in sport science and coaching. This has given me a strong understanding of how people respond to pressure, challenge, and performance demands.

This informs a practical and structured approach, focused on helping you manage overthinking, feel more in control, and respond more steadily in difficult situations.

I have a particular interest in supporting men who feel under pressure and are used to dealing with things on their own.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
