About me

Are you always at the bottom of your own to-do list?

Do you find yourself hiding your emotions, feeling unheard, or struggling with self-doubt? Perhaps you’re feeling lost, lacking confidence, or unsure of your own needs. If any of this resonates, you’re not alone.

Hello, I’m Louisa.
I’m a compassionate and experienced therapeutic counsellor dedicated to helping individuals reconnect with their self-worth and emotional well-being. I offer a safe, supportive space where you can explore your feelings, develop self-awareness, and build the confidence to express your true self.

My approach is warm, empathetic, and tailored to your unique needs. I believe in the power of a trusting therapeutic relationship to support healing and personal growth. Together, we will explore ways to help you:
✔ Prioritise your own needs without guilt
✔ Set healthy boundaries
✔ Find your voice and express yourself with confidence

In our sessions, you can expect a non-judgmental space where your experiences and emotions are truly heard. We will identify patterns that may be holding you back and work towards fostering a positive self-image. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or simply feeling stuck, I am here to support you.

Taking the first step towards therapy can feel daunting, but it’s also an act of self-care. If you’re ready to start prioritising your own happiness, I invite you to reach out. Let’s work together to help you find balance, regain confidence, and embrace a life that feels more fulfilling.

When was the last time you did something just for you? Let’s make today the day you choose yourself.

The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
