About me

Are you at the bottom of your own to-do list? Are you tired of hiding your emotions? Or feeling unheard as though your needs aren’t important to those closest to you? Perhaps you're feeling lost, lacking in confidence, and struggling with low self-esteem.

When was the last time you did something just for you?

Hello, I'm Louisa. As a compassionate and experienced therapeutic counsellor dedicated to helping individuals rediscover their sense of self-worth and emotional wellbeing. I strive to provide a safe and supportive space where you can explore your feelings, develop self-awareness and build the confidence to express your true self.

My approach is warm, empathetic and tailored to meet your unique needs. I believe in the power of a trusting therapeutic relationship to facilitate healing and personal growth. Together, we will work on strategies to help you prioritise your own needs, set healthy boundaries and find your voice.

In our sessions, you can expect a non-judgmental environment where your experiences and emotions are validated. We will explore the patterns that hold you back and work towards fostering a positive self-image. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or simply feeling stuck, I am here to support you on your journey to a more fulfilling life.

Taking the first step towards therapy can be daunting, but it is also a courageous act of self-care. I invite you to reach out and take that step with me. Let's work together to help you find balance, regain your confidence and start prioritising your own happiness.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
