About me

Hello and Welcome, I'm Lisa and I offer Professional Counselling and Psychotherapy (CBT) either Online, Telephone or Face to Face from a Comfortable and Private Room in Broadstone, Dorset to Young People 11 + and Adults.

Finding the right person to talk to can seem daunting and you might be feeling overwhelmed or nervous about making the first step, with this in mind I hope to provide you with a friendly introduction to myself and how I work.

I am a Qualified Counsellor with Experience of Working with Young People 11+ and Adults, Counselling Online, Telephone or Face to Face.
As well as my Private Practice in Broadstone (Broadstone Counselling) I also worked as a Counsellor and Supervisor at a local agency working with Adult Survivors of Childhood Abuse (H2H), specialising in trauma.

I have previously worked within an NHS Doctors Medical Centre (DRMC) Counselling Patients of all ages suffering from a variety of Mental Heath Issues or Problems.

Before Counselling my back ground was in Teaching Primary and Secondary.

I can offer you a safe, confidential space to come and explore whatever you wish to bring, whether this be short term or long term counselling, I can be flexible depending on your needs.

I have a strong belief that we CAN ALL change and be that person we want to be!

How I work - in our sessions my aim is to develop a therapeutic relationship to enable you to feel safe enough to explore your concerns and be listened to in a way that may not have happened before. I will offer you the opportunity to discuss your problems with me in a warm, neutral, confidential, non-judgemental environment, enabling you if you so wish, to explore any root causes of painful, negative feelings and thoughts which may then enable you to move on from feeling stuck and enjoy life in a different way.
