About me
HCPC accredited Counselling Psychologist
Working in Mental Health NHS services, I recognise the positive impact that affordable psychological therapy can have on individuals who need support. Despite this, long waiting lists often mean that individuals are waiting a long time before therapy and often placed into a treatment based on what the service provides, rather than that approach being tailored individually. In my private practice, I believe that therapy should be tailored to your individual needs and that your subjective experience should be validated holistically and empathically.
Being 'integrative' means I blend different counselling techniques to fit your unique needs, ensuring our approach is unique for you. I believe collaboration is key and work with you towards agreed goals in a time-limited or open ended capacity.
Here is what you can expect:
- A private and confidential space.
- A safe environment to collaboratively explore your emotions, thoughts, and experiences (past and present).
- A place where you're free to be yourself, and where we can progress together at your own pace.
- My promise to genuinely listen and understand your story.
- A flexible approach that follows your lead.
- A personalised treatment plan crafted just for you, because you're one of a kind.
- Guidance to uncover a more fulfilling way of living.
As a registered member of the HCPC, I am committed to their values and ethical guidelines. I regularly seek supervision to ensure I'm providing the best care possible, and I'm always eager to grow both professionally and personally.
