About me

I’m Lindsay, a qualified counsellor based in Sanderstead and online nationwide. Taking the first step can feel overwhelming, and reaching out for support isn't always easy. I offer a warm, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can explore whatever is on your mind.

I believe that by making sense of our experiences, we can better understand our thoughts, emotions and behaviours, begin to heal from past wounds, and develop healthier ways of coping. My role is not to give advice or tell you what decisions to make, but to walk alongside you as you navigate life's challenges. Together, we'll work at your pace to help you gain insight, build resilience, and move towards the life you want to live.

I am an integrative counsellor, which means I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches and tailor my work to meet your individual needs. I recognise that every person is unique, and there is no single approach that works for everyone. By combining different theories and techniques, I can adapt our sessions to support you in a way that feels most helpful and meaningful for you.

I support adults with a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, trauma, grief and loss, relationship difficulties and life changes. I can also support you with panic, emotional overwhelm, anger, loneliness, work-related stress, and feelings of being stuck or lost.

Training, qualifications & experience

  • Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling
  • BA (Hons) Race and Ethnic Studies with Psychology
  • Safeguarding training
  • Suicide Prevention training

Before becoming a counsellor, I worked in the emergency services, supporting people during some of the most challenging moments of their lives. For the past seven years, I have worked within NHS adult mental health services, supporting people experiencing mental health crises and emergency situations.
