About me
I am a dedicated Person-Centred Counsellor committed to helping individuals navigate life's challenges with compassion, respect, and a focus on their unique needs. I understand that seeking therapy can be daunting and am devoted to providing a supportive, non-judgemental space where clients feel truly heard and understood.
With experience in addressing a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, grief, anger, identity concerns, and LGBTQ+ issues. My approach is rooted in creating a safe, empowering environment where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions at their own pace.
Passionate about inclusivity, I aim to ensure my practice is LGBTQ+ friendly and culturally sensitive. I recognize that each individual has a unique story and that healing is a deeply personal process. During sessions, I encourage clients to bring their full selves without fear of judgment or misunderstanding. I believe that the healing process is most effective when clients feel comfortable and accepted as they are.
With experience working with clients of various age groups and backgrounds, I am skilled at adapting my approach to meet individual needs. Collaborating with clients to explore their experiences and emotions, focusing not only on challenges but also on the strengths and perspectives that make them unique. I firmly believe in each individual's capacity to grow, heal, and achieve their goals, and am committed to supporting them on their journey.
For those ready to take the next step in their personal journey of healing and self-discovery, I offer a compassionate space to explore challenges and find a path forward. My practice is based on the Person-Centred approach, emphasizing empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard to create a safe environment for clients to openly explore their feelings and experiences.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a BA (Hons) in Person-Centred Counselling and am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
