About me
Are you looking to change self-destructive habits? Be kinder to yourself? Do you want to understand why certain thoughts are bothering you?
If you are looking to learn practical coping skills tailored specifically to your needs, then you are on the right page! We don't need to go into the past if you are not ready; instead, let's start with here and now and build your confidence.
I specialise in working with adults and teenagers who need help navigating a challenging period of their lives. I have experience working with neurodivergent clients, people who deal with anxiety, depression, self-harm or have been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder.
What kind of therapy do I offer?
- Individual therapy - you might want to understand your patterns, gain deeper insight into your mind or feel like you need support in practising or learning new coping skills. This will be your space to focus on only you.
- DBT individual therapy - DBT (dialectical behavioural therapy) might have been recommended to you if you have been diagnosed with a personality disorder, struggle with emotions or self-harm. DBT can be very useful for people on the autistic spectrum as well.
- Couple therapy -
Systemic couple therapy usually takes place once a month and it is focused on you as partners. It can be difficult to change old habits or adjust to a new situation, but coming to therapy isn’t about something being broken - it is about looking for the right next step.
My approach focuses on the patterns between people, not placing blame on any one person. Together, we’ll explore how your dynamics have developed over time, and find new ways of relating that feel more connected, respectful, and workable for everyone involved.
- Family therapy - In family therapy, we create a space where everyone’s voice can be heard and where the focus is on understanding, not blame. It’s not about pointing fingers, but about exploring how your relationships and communication patterns are working and how they might work better.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Practical information
To make things as simple and comfortable as possible, I use Konfidens to support booking and communication and for our online sessions. This gives you the option to manage your appointment easily and online sessions require no setup and can be done from your phone, laptop, tablet or PC!
I work mostly with clients who are struggling with emotional instability, mood swings, self-harm harm and anxiety. I will first map out your goals for therapy. We will often talk about specific behaviours or events, you can expect DBT handouts or assignments tailored directly to your needs. I also support clients long-term if they need a place to organise their thoughts and "tap into therapy".
