About me
Taking the first forward step can be difficult, but you don't have to face things alone. If you're ready to begin your journey towards positive change, I would be honoured to support you. I believe that everyone has the capacity to heal, grow, and create change, regardless of how difficult things may seem. My approach is built on empathy, respect, and genuine understanding, creating an environment where you can speak openly and honestly without fear of judgement.
I am a Level 5 Qualified Integrative Psychotherapist and hold a CMI Level 3 qualification in Coaching and Mentoring. Alongside my professional training, I bring over 50 years of life experience and have been supporting individuals with a range of issues for the last 20 years. I provide a safe and supportive space where you can explore the challenges you are facing and work towards positive and lasting change.
Throughout my career, I have worked with people who feel overwhelmed by the pressures of modern life, are struggling with difficult experiences from their past or find themselves caught in patterns of behaviour that no longer serve them. I have extensive knowledge and experience working with addiction, both substance-related and behavioural; helping individuals identify underlying negative belief systems, and move towards healthier and more fulfilling lives; build resilience in order to cope with difficulties, anxiety, stress, depression, low self-esteem, and the emotional wellbeing challenges that modern day life can bring.
As an integrative psychotherapist, I recognise that every person's experiences are unique. I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to tailor support to your individual needs, helping you gain insight, develop coping strategies, and achieve meaningful personal growth.
Our first session is an opportunity for us to meet in a relaxed and confidential setting, have a conversation about what has brought you to therapy, and explore how we can work together to to help you achieve your goals.

At Forward Steps Therapy, I believe that meaningful change starts with a single step forward. No matter how stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain life may feel, there is always the opportunity to move towards a healthier, more fulfilling future.
Alongside my professional qualifications and experience, I bring a wealth of real-life understanding to my work. I recognise that many of life's challenges do not fit neatly into labels or diagnoses. Relationship difficulties, family pressures, addiction, loss, career struggles, low confidence, and significant life changes can all affect how we view ourselves and the world around us.What I bring to clients is a genuine, down-to-earth approach, rooted in empathy, honesty, and authenticity. I understand that taking the first step into therapy can feel daunting, which is why I focus on creating a space where you can feel safe, heard, and accepted without judgement. From there, we can work together to understand what is holding you back and identify the forward steps that feel right for you.I see therapy as a collaborative process. Rather than telling you what to do, I will support you in exploring your experiences, recognising your strengths, and developing the confidence and resilience needed to move forward. Whether your goal is recovery from addiction, improving relationships, managing difficult emotions, or simply gaining a better understanding of yourself, my aim is to help you make meaningful progress at a pace that works for you.Because sometimes the biggest changes begin with the smallest forward step.
