About me

Do you find yourself feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stressed? I am here to support you manage and reduce these feelings, while also boosting your self-esteem and confidence. Together, we can work towards rediscovering your true self and finding a sense of peace. It's completely normal to feel lost or confused about your emotions. I provide a judgment-free environment where you can freely express yourself and make positive changes to progress in your life.

Taking that first step to see a counsellor can be  nerve-wracking and it's completely understandable to feel anxious (I felt the same way too). However, once you start sharing your thoughts and feelings, it can bring a sense of relief to have someone listen. As a person-centered counsellor, I believe in a non-directive approach, where you are the centre of our counselling sessions. Your needs, feelings, and experiences will guide our journey together, empowering you to explore and grow in a safe and supportive environment.

As a certified person-centered counsellor and counselling tutor, I bring a wealth of experience in supporting individuals who have dealt with narcissistic/toxic abuse, co-dependency, anxiety, depression, attachment struggles, grief, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, and confidence issues. I understand the deep pain of feeling misunderstood and unseen.

Choosing the right counsellor is a crucial decision, which is why I offer a complimentary 20-minute initial consultation. This allows you the chance to connect with me, ask any questions you may have, and gauge if we would be a good fit for working together. Subsequent sessions will be of 50 minutes, giving us ample time to delve into your concerns and work towards your healing and growth.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
