About me
I’m a qualified and registered Gestalt therapist offering one-to-one counselling for adults. I provide a supportive, non-judgemental space where you can explore all aspects of your identity and give voice to whatever you may be experiencing.
I see therapy as a collaborative journey. My role is to support you in developing a deeper awareness of yourself, how you relate to others, navigate situations, and respond to life’s challenges. As self-exploration can bring up unexpected feelings, I'm here to support you in that process. At times, I may gently question or reflect on patterns that could be contributing to your current difficulties, with compassion and respect for your pace.
My private practice is based in Fulham (SW6), where I offer both in-person and online sessions.
If you'd like to see what a therapy session with me is like, I offer the first 50 min session at a reduced rate of £20.
Training, qualifications & experience
I completed my training at The Gestalt Centre in London. Alongside my private practice, I work as a volunteer counsellor at Balham Community Counselling Services, a low-cost mental health service. I have also previously volunteered with Lot36 Ltd in Wandsworth, another community-based, low-cost counselling provider.
I have experience working with individuals from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, sexual orientations, and gender identities, and I strive to offer a respectful and inclusive space for everyone I work with.
I am committed to ongoing professional development and regularly undertake additional training to deepen my knowledge and enhance the quality of support I offer to clients.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
