About me
I am an experienced, qualified and accredited Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist. I have been practicing in the Petersfield area for over twenty years. I provide professional and confidential one-to-one counselling for adults. I am able to offer short-term or long-term counselling therapy, depending on your needs, in a safe, supportive and non-judgmental environment, in which you are able to explore past experiences, current difficulties and future possibilities. I work with an integrative approach, which means that I integrate ideas and insights drawn from different counselling models in order to respond appropriately to the needs of individual clients.
There can be many reasons for seeking counselling or therapy including relationship issues, loss & grief, depression, anxiety, abuse, life transitions or simply to discover more about yourself and how you relate to others.
We are all faced with life’s challenges. Sometimes having time out and talking with family and friends is enough of a support to get us through those difficult times. However, emotions and life experiences or circumstances can sometimes become overwhelming and professional help may be needed. This can include visiting your GP, as well as exploring talking therapies.
I offer face to face counselling sessions in Clanfield. I also offer on line therapy which has proven to be very successful especially over the past 2 years. Some people have preferred video work as they can speak to me within the comfort of their own home without travelling any distance. I use a few different platforms, zoom, Skype or FaceTime as well as telephone calls. If you would like to discuss this option further, please don’t hesitate to make contact via email or phone.
I am committed to my own personal and professional development. I do this by attending regular workshops, trainings and seminars; I also participate in monthly supervision.
I am also a qualified breathwork coach, I use and teach breathwork within my practice and many clients have found this work very beneficial.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
