About me
Hi, I’m Katie.
I’m an integrative counsellor based on the Wirral, working with adults, young people and children who are experiencing anxiety, trauma and a range of emotional difficulties. I also support neurodivergent clients. I have a particular interest in working with people affected by sight loss.
As an integrative counsellor, I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, I draw on different therapeutic models, including person-centred therapy, psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), to shape our work together in a way that feels appropriate for you and your needs.
I aim to offer a calm, supportive space where you can talk freely and at your own pace, without feeling judged. Building a trusting working relationship is important and I will work alongside you to explore what is going on for you.
When working with adults, I support clients to explore their experiences and the emotions that come with them.
I also work with children and young people aged 8 to 18. Sessions are adapted to suit their age and communication style, helping them to express themselves in a way that feels comfortable. They may be experiencing anxiety, low mood, school-related stress, family changes or feeling overwhelmed. We can explore things together at a pace that works for them.
I am based on the Wirral, my therapy room is in Wallasey through the week and Bromborough of a weekend. I also offer online and telephone sessions for added flexibility.

Further information
As an integrative counsellor, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches so that our work together can be flexible and tailored to your individual needs.
At the heart of my practice is the Person-Centred approach. This means that our sessions begin with you — your experiences, your pace, and what feels most important for you to explore. I aim to offer a warm, supportive and non-judgemental space where you feel heard, understood and able to talk openly.
I may bring elements of psychodynamic and CBT ( cognitive behavioural therapy into our session if appropriate.
