About me

I am a person‑centred counsellor, passionate about supporting people as they navigate life’s challenges and experiences. I offer an empathetic, safe and accepting space where individuals can begin their journey of self‑discovery and healing.

I believe that each person has the capacity for growth, and my role is to walk alongside you as you explore your experiences at your own pace. My approach is collaborative and led by you, grounded in understanding, respect and compassion.

I focus on creating a therapeutic relationship in which you can bring yourself as you are. Within this supportive space, clients are supported to develop greater self‑awareness, reconnect more fully with themselves, and move towards personal growth and clarity in ways that feel right for them.

Counselling can offer support for many different reasons, whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, facing change, or wanting to understand yourself more deeply.  Whatever brings you here, you are welcome. Together, we can explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe and non-judgemental space, helping you gain clarity, self-understanding or discover your own sense of direction and meaning.

Counselling can be a space to pause, reflect, and develop a more compassionate relationship with yourself.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
