I offer one to one therapy sessions and couples counselling. I can be flexible providing evening and Saturday sessions.
I undertake an assessment to begin with to establish whether we can work together and usually agree a period of time to work together with a review date.
I have worked as a therapist for 27 yrs in a variety of settings both privately and for charities mainly dealing with addiction and the triggers which often underpin this.
I offer a safe tranquil place to stop, take stock, reset and look ahead towards the changes you want to make.
I also offer EMDR for those suffering from Trauma
Training, qualifications & experience
My background has been 27yrs working in the addiction field. I have worked with a wide variety of underlying issues such as anxiety, depression sexual abuse and trauma which often underpin or trigger the use of substances including alcohol.
I am trained to level 2 practitioner level in EMDR for trauma and have had many years of training in all the mainstream therapies such as CBT Psycho-dynamic and person centred.
