BACP Integrative Counsellor and Complementary Therapist

About me

I am a BACP registered counsellor in private practice in Ealing, West London, W5. On Thursdays I see clients near London Bridge station SE1 2TH.
I work in an integrative and client centered way. My core training is in Psychosynthesis: "a holistic approach to helping the individual deal with dilemmas, conflicts and patterns of behaviours which inhibit or prevent living life in meaningful and fulfilling ways.”

I offer 50 minute in-person and online sessions in English and Brazilian Portuguese, in a confidential, safe and non-judgemental space where you can explore the issues and concerns in your life.

Feel free to get in touch and arrange an initial assessment:

Once you contact me telling me briefly about yourself and what brings you to talking therapy, we can arrange an initial assessment. In the assessment we will talk in more details about your life, needs, wants and intentions and you can clarify any aspects of my approach and your sessions.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling; however, I draw on a variety of perspectives to tailor my approach to the individual. I have a background in teaching, mental health support and complementary therapies in the UK and abroad.

My passion lies in exploring the continuous reciprocal interrelation between the body and the psyche.

Consequently, when or if it is right for you, there is the possibility of working somatically, paying attention to underlying physical sensations. From there, the mind-body exercises may include breathwork, meditation, visualisation, massage, grounding, dance, and/or sensation awareness work.

I have a special interest in culture, diversity, race, spirituality, gender, sexuality, intergenerational and early childhood traumas as well as reclaiming sexuality after abuse.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
