About me
Welcome to Balance & Bloom Counselling
Are you feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or stuck after life’s challenges? You don’t have to face it alone. I offer a calm, non-judgemental space where you can talk freely and begin to make sense of what’s happening for you.
My approach is person-centred, meaning our sessions are led by you — your pace, your story, your goals. Together, we’ll explore what’s beneath the surface, helping you feel more grounded and in control.
I often support people who are navigating anxiety, low mood, trauma, PTSD, menopause changes, or simply a loss of direction. I also have experience helping young people (11–18) build confidence and develop healthier ways to cope with life’s ups and downs.
Sessions are flexible — face-to-face in a safe, welcoming space, or online if that suits you better.
My aim is simple: to help you find balance, clarity, and a sense of peace within yourself.
If you’re ready to take the next step, I offer a free 20-minute introductory call where you can ask questions and get a feel for how we might work together.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

🌱 Practical Information
I work from home in a comfortable, private counselling room designed to feel calm and welcoming.
Please note, I share my home with two friendly dogs and a cat. They are my pets and are always kept in a separate area, with no access to the therapy room.
There is a toilet next to the therapy room for your convenience.
If you have any questions or concerns before booking, please don’t hesitate to get in touch — I want you to feel as comfortable as possible before your first session.
