About me
I am a counsellor who has a passion to work with women and adolescents who may be experiencing burnout, feeling overwhelmed by life, or struggling to navigate the pressures of work, family, and personal expectations. I provide a calm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and feel heard.
I have a particular interest in supporting women who are juggling multiple responsibilities and feeling exhausted, stuck, or unsure of the next step in life. Together, we can work at your pace to help you better understand what you’re feeling, rebuild emotional energy, and find a way forward that feels more manageable and balanced.
I also work with adolescents and young people, including those who may be unsure about counselling or not quite ready to attend sessions themselves. In these situations, I can offer support sessions for parents to help you understand what your teenager may be experiencing, improve communication, and learn ways to support them through difficult periods.
In addition, I offer online and face to face counselling for young people who live outside the Southern Trust area, making support more accessible regardless of location.
My approach is warm, practical, and compassionate, and I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable, understood, and supported as you navigate the challenges you are facing.
Training, qualifications & experience
With a 14 year background in social work, extensive experience working with children and families, and counselling, I understand how overwhelming life and parenting can sometimes feel - especially when you’re trying to support a child who is struggling.

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

If your teenager won’t attend counselling, you can book a parent consultation to look at what you can do at home in the meantime - with practical strategies, communication support and ways to reduce conflict and stress at home.
Sometimes you don’t need all the answers, you just need a place to talk, think and make a plan with someone who understands both families and the system.
My services are not just for parents, if you are over 18 and need space to talk about anxiety or overwhelm or simply to try and gauge some direction in life.
