About me

I am a neurodivergent therapist (ADHD) and offer neuro-affirming individual therapy based on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). I specialise in supporting neurodivergent adults (17+), parents, and families. I offer sessions online (video) and in person (Wokingham).

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and an accredited member of the BABCP.  I also hold degrees in Psychology and Business Administration, which gave me a broad foundation before moving into clinical training.

I worked in NHS mental health services for 7 years, supporting adults experiencing varying difficulties and life experiences.  I have also delivered training to colleagues on perinatal mental health, suicidal thoughts, and self-harm, from a place of compassionate person-centred care.

Prior to my therapy training, I worked with NHS England and the Royal College of Psychiatrists as a lived experience advisor on perinatal mental health standards and guidance.

I primarily work with adults (17+) seeking support with anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, low self-esteem, and perimenopause.

In the last couple of years, my focus has developed in supporting neurodivergent adults.  I often support late-diagnosed women, non-binary, and transgender adults with ADHD.

While I primarily draw from CBT, I am a neuro-affirming therapist and often integrate acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), strengths-based, and trauma-informed approaches.
