I provide Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) in Birmingham. I am a fully accredited EMDR Europe practitioner and I'm also fully accredited with the BABCP (British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapists). I work with a range of mental health difficulties which include:
Generalised Anxiety Disorder
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
I have always had an interest in Eating Disorders, having published a research paper in this area during a Research Masters. I have therefore clinically specialised in this area in the past 3 years, including having worked for an Eating Disorder charity and an NHS Eating Disorder Service
I am keen to provide a supportive environment to help my patients reach their treatment goals and can adapt to telephone working or Skype if needed.
Training, qualifications & experience
Qualifications: BSc (Hons) in Psychology, MRes in Psychology, PGCert in Psychological Therapies, PGDip in Advanced Practice in CBT, EMDR Training with EMDR Extra
Experience: I have worked in a range of settings including NHS services, specialist eating disorder services and in private practice

British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies
The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK.
Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists.
BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
