About me
I offer confidential therapy either online or in person in Enfield.
Our therapeutic relationship will be unique and individual according to your needs. We will explore your experiences in a safe, warm and confidential environment, free of critical judgement. In this space we can gain a deeper, greater understanding of what's happening for you, which in itself will create change. I offer depth psychotherapy, working holistically to facilitate change and healing where needed. Blocks and difficulties, anxiety and depression can arise for numerous reasons, we will explore, where possible, the root causes with the intention of working this through.
I have a private practice working therapeutically with individuals and couples who require counselling/psychotherapy as well as offering clinical supervision to trainee and qualified counsellors/psychotherapists. My practice is in Enfield, Middlesex
I am registered as a psychotherapist by the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), Reg. No: 2011162244 and I am fully insured to practice.
Please feel free to contact me by phone or email for further information.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have qualifications as a Humanistic Integrative psychotherapist with a transpersonal emphasis.
I have achieved a Master of Arts degree with distinction in Psychotherapy (MA. Psych. (distn)) and a diploma in counselling and psychotherapy (Dipl. Psych.)
I am able to work therapeutically and mindfully with all ages from 18 years and with a wide range of problems.
I offer clinical supervision to counsellors and psychotherapists in their clinical work, both individually and in a group (See Supervision link for more details or visit my website).
Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
