Jayne-Louise Street, MA(Distn) Psych., Diploma Psych., Diploma Supn. UKCP Reg.

About me

In this current climate I am offering confidential therapy either by phone or online. You will need to have access to a private space for the sessions.

Our therapeutic relationship will be unique and individual according to your needs. We will explore your experiences in a safe, warm and confidential environment, free of critical judgement. In this space we can gain a deeper, greater understanding of what's happening for you, which in itself will create change. I offer depth psychotherapy, working holistically to facilitate change and healing where needed.  Blocks and difficulties can arise for numerous reasons, we will explore, where possible, the root causes with the intention of working this through.

I have a private practice working therapeutically with individuals and couples who require counselling/psychotherapy as well as offering clinical supervision to trainee and qualified counsellors/psychotherapists. My practice is in Enfield, Middlesex

I am registered as a psychotherapist by the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), Reg. No:  2011162244 and I am fully insured to practice.

Please feel free to contact me by phone or email for further information.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have qualifications as a Humanistic Integrative psychotherapist with a transpersonal emphasis.

I have achieved a Master of Arts degree with distinction as well as a diploma in counselling and psychotherapy.

I am able to work therapeutically and mindfully with all ages from 16 years and with a wide range of problems.

I offer clinical supervision to counsellors and psychotherapists in their clinical work, both individually and in a group (See Supervision link for more details or visit my website).

UK Council for Psychotherapy

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
