About me

There are various life events that can impact on our emotional and physical health. Once we are enabled to recognise what we need, we can plan and rehearse positive change.

Working with young people and  families over the past 40 years, has given me valuable insight into relationships and what is essential to reduce anxiety, promote and maintain emotional health.

My previous role as a Health Play Specialist in a large teaching Hospital, frequently put me at the front line of highly anxious ,stressful and traumatic situations, helping families to reduce anxiety, plan, prepare and gain coping skills for a variety of interventions.

The vital, Integrative skills learned as a Human Givens Therapist, mean that I have been able to incorporate a number of  well researched strategies to appropriately support, calm emotions and help clear thinking, empowering my clients to make important changes and decisions that lower anxiety and will build resilience and confidence.

I can offer individual and family sessions to help free you from anxiety, phobias, depression, anger, self harm, worry, poor sleep, trauma, relationship difficulties and PTSD.
Following an initial consultation, sessions are between 1-1 1/2 hours, times can vary slightly depending on client need.

It is important to build a relationship of trust and confidentiality with the clients I work with. I provide a quiet relaxing environment where you can feel listened to and safe.
