About me
My time is currently split between working as a group facilitator and counsellor at a residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation treatment centre, seeing clients online and from my practice in Kings Hill, Kent.
My core training is in Person-Centred Therapy and I will draw on various other approaches to best suit your individual needs. Each session will be guided by you and we will move at a pace that feels appropriate. I will not judge you, no matter what you bring to your sessions. I will provide a safe and confidential space that allows you to explore your thoughts and feelings and I will not pressure you to explore anything you do not wish to. Counselling can give you greater personal insight and help develop self-awareness. I will support you in finding solutions to the difficulties you are currently experiencing in your life. My aim is to help and support you in creating lasting change, helping you to utilise your own resources moving forward.
I have experience working with a broad range of individuals experiencing difficulties in some of the following areas:
- Anxiety and depression
- Addiction, both behavioural and substance based
- Relationship difficulties and everyday life problems
- Adverse childhood experiences
- Low self-esteem and self-worth
- Difficulty regulating emotional experiences
- Existential issues, such as loss of or search for meaning and purpose
- Obsessive and compulsive behaviours
I offer a free of charge 30 minute introductory session. Your free introductory session is to give you a chance to ask any questions you may have and find out how counselling can help with the difficulties you are currently experiencing. Please be assured that there is no obligation to work with me after this initial session.
I have Professional Liability Insurance and DBS clearance. I am a voluntary member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy). This means I adhere to their code of ethics and professional standards. I undergo regular supervision and engage in CPD (Continuing Professional Development), to ensure I am providing the best service possible to my clients.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
