About me

A huge warm welcome and Thank you for visiting My counselling profile.

Are you someone who wants to get to know yourself better and why you feel the way that you do? Do you struggle with feelings of anxiety, feeling low or like you want more from life but are not sure where to start? Maybe you want to address the things you have gone through and how that has shaped you into the person you are right now? Then look no further. I would love to help you. I can help you on this journey and help you discover more about yourself and be apart of the transition you make into feeling more in control of your life, your experiences and your future.

We can all agree that throughout life we all change, evolve and learn new skills but I believe is it so important for you to be in the drivers seat of that change and create and pave a future that leads you in a direction you are happier and feel more fulfilled with.

You might ask what makes my service different from the rest and my simple answer would be that my only vision is purely to empower you and improve your mental well-being and your feelings about your future.  I genuinely and wholeheartedly care about how you feel and I believe in your success story.

I don’t believe that one box and one fixed approach fits everyone so I have a pluralistic approach which is just a fancy word for; I tailor our service to suit you and your needs, in a person-centred way. This is to ensure that you get the very best support that is the right approach and the right fit for what you are going through; helping you to create more successful outcomes.

We also offer a more open ended service which means our sessions together come to a natural end rather than a forced end. This gives you the freedom to have as many sessions as you feel would be appropriate. This might be 6, 12 or more if it felt like that was the right approach for you.

It is a great privilege that people trust me with all areas of themselves and I hope that I can be a part of your process in creating a better tomorrow, for you.

I really look forward to hearing from you.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
