About me
If you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed by life, or struggling with low self-esteem, you're not alone. You might find it hard to switch off, speak kindly to yourself, or feel confident in your decisions. In our sessions, we’ll work together to explore your feelings, build self-awareness, develop strategies to manage anxiety and improve your sense of self-worth, helping you feel more empowered also at ease with yourself and life. Together, we can explore what’s going on for you, help you understand yourself more deeply, and work towards greater self-acceptance, clarity, and peace.
I’m a person-centered counsellor who believes that every individual has the capacity for growth and healing when given the right support. I work by offering a warm, comfortable, and non-judgemental space where you can explore whatever’s going on for you at your own pace.
Life can feel overwhelming, and you don’t have to face it alone. I offer a calm, supportive space where you can talk freely and feel truly heard. You might not have all the answers yet - and that’s okay. Together, we can work towards greater understanding, confidence, and calm, at your own pace.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified counsellor with a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, which forms the core of my practice and professional foundation. My training follows a person-centered, integrative approach, allowing me to tailor support to the unique needs of each client.
My qualifications have equipped me with a solid understanding of counselling theory, ethics, and practice, as well as practical experience working with individuals facing a range of emotional and psychological challenges.
Alongside my one-to-one counselling work, I also facilitate a community-based well-being group. This group focuses on promoting mental health awareness, emotional resilience, and self-care through guided discussions, psychoeducation, and supportive peer engagement.
This combination of training, personal experience, and group facilitation has deepened my commitment to creating safe, inclusive spaces for people to explore their mental health and develop tools for personal growth.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
